Yame No. 89 is a first-harvest, single cultivar matcha from a family-run tea farm in Yame, Japan. Traditionally stone-milled and shade-grown, it is smooth, layered, and quietly complex, with notes of cocoa, avocado, toasted grain, and a softly nutty, lingering umami finish.

The Whisk:

Hand-carved from a single piece of purple bamboo, The Whisk, also known as a Chasen, is designed to create a smooth, even blend with a softly foamed finish. Its fine tines help suspend matcha in water, bringing ease and precision to each preparation. The Whisk is crafted in the traditional Shin style and is finished with Muracha’s signature green thread.

The Chashaku:

Traditionally used to measure matcha, The Chashaku helps portion powder with ease and control. One rounded scoop is approximately 1 gram of matcha. Its curved bamboo form moves cleanly from tin to bowl, making each preparation feel simple and precise.
